Nigeria National League (NNL) newest side 1472 FC have signed and unveiled three footballers of Surulere-based side Emiloju FC.
The three footballers are Solomon Alade, Eyitayo Rasheed, and Ayodeji Thomas.
The unveiling took place in Surulere Lagos on Monday, November 6, 2023.
Speaking at the signing and unveiling, the CEO of Emiloju Football Club, Alhaji Musiliu Alao, said Emiloju FC is loaded with talents.
“I am happy with the latest feat achieved by Emiloju Football Club but I am not surprised because Emiloju Football Club is one of the best grassroot teams in Nigeria,” Alao said.
“I have no doubt these newly signed Emiloju FC footballers would perform optimally for 1472 FC.
“We don’t have average footballers in Emiloju Football Club, all our footballers are good.
“I wish them the best as they opened a new chapter in their footballing careers.”
Emiloju Football Club is an affiliate of HB football and Elite group London.
1472 FC is owned by Nigerian Billionaire football stakeholder Dozi Mmobuosi.
The signing of the three Emiloju FC players is a sign of 1472 FC’s ambition to challenge for promotion to the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) in the near future.
