The Executive Chairman of Shooting Stars Sports Club (3SC) of Ibadan, Honourable Babatunde Olaniyan Akoro, has hailed the supporters and fans of the Oluyole Warriors for turning out in large numbers to cheer the team to victory over Niger Tornadoes FC of Minna on Sunday.

The 3SC boss, while saluting the club’s backers for standing behind the team since the league started, said their presence during the matchday seven fixture against the visiting Tornadoes, encouraged the players in no small means.

“I want to thank our teeming supporters and fans for turning up to support the team during the match against Niger Tornadoes,” Akoro said.

“Despite the disappointing defeat in Ikenne during the midweek, they still demonstrated their love and belief in us and this we really appreciate.

“Equally, I wish to use this medium to reassure all our supporters and fans across the globe that we will not disappoint them as the season progresses.”

Honourable Olaniyan also commended motorbikes owners for complying with the arrangement put in place by the management for security and safety purposes.
