Noble, who is 30 years old, told Soccerhub.ng that he was offered three times his current wages to move to Tabora, as Soccerhub previously that John Noble has completed a move a Tanzania side.

“Football is just about money, and knowing fully well that you’re not going to play forever, when you’re offered three times your current wages, I think everyone will just joyfully have to make that move,” he said.

“We have families and we have people looking up to us, at the end of the day, they don’t care where you play but what you achieved.”

Noble said that he had a “fantastic experience” at Enyimba, but that he felt he had to take the opportunity to earn more money.

“I’ve played three years with Enyimba, and it was a fantastic experience with them,” he said. “When I got the offer, I looked at it and compared it with what I was receiving at Enyimba, I told myself I had to go to Tanzania and see what I can do. Money is the reason why I came here and time waits for no man.”

Noble is the latest in a line of African footballers to move to Tanzania in search of better financial opportunities. In recent years, the Tanzanian Premier League has become a destination for players from across the continent, as clubs offer lucrative contracts.
