Paris Saint-Germain have completed the signing of Georgian winger Khvicha Kvaratskhelia from Serie A champions Napoli in a deal worth €70 million.
The 23-year-old has signed a four-and-a-half-year contract with the French giants, keeping him at Parc des Princes until 2029.
Kvaratskhelia, nicknamed “Kvaradona” by Napoli fans, has been one of the most exciting players in European football since his arrival at the club last season.
His dazzling dribbling skills, blistering pace, and eye for goal made him a key figure in Napoli’s Serie A title-winning campaign.
PSG have been in the market for a new attacking threat following the departure of Kylian Mbappé, and Kvaratskhelia is seen as the ideal replacement. The Georgian international will add a new dimension to Luis Enrique’s side, providing creativity, flair, and goalscoring ability.
The transfer fee of €70 million makes Kvaratskhelia one of the most expensive signings in PSG’s history. The club is hoping that he can help them achieve their long-held ambition of winning the UEFA Champions League.
Kvaratskhelia is expected to make his debut for PSG in their upcoming Ligue 1 match against Marseille.
