The African Football League (AFL) authorities are set to punish Al Ahly for the behavior of their fans during the team’s AFL goalless draw match against Mamelodi Sundowns in the semi final.

According to reports, Al Ahly fans threw water bottles and other objects at the Sundowns team as they warmed up for the match. The incident was caught on camera and has been widely shared on social media.

The AFL has a zero-tolerance policy for fan misbehavior and is expected to take stern action against Al Ahly. The club could face a fine, a partial stadium closure, or even a disqualification from the AFL.

Al Ahly has already issued a statement condemning the behavior of their fans and apologizing to Mamelodi Sundowns. The club has also promised to investigate the incident and take appropriate disciplinary action against any fans who are identified.
