South Africa’s First Point

South Africa’s first Women’s World Cup point came at a cost, with captain Refiloe Jane stretchered off with an ankle injury.

The team will also be without Kholosa Biyana for their final Group G match after she received her second yellow card of the tournament.

Despite the injuries, South Africa will be pleased to have picked up a point against a strong Argentina side.

Both Teams Live to Fight Another Day

Both Argentina and South Africa live to fight another day, but they will need results to go their way for them to progress to the last 16.

Argentina will need to beat Sweden, while South Africa will need to beat Italy.

It will be an exciting final round of group matches, with both teams still in with a chance of qualifying.
