Bellingham had netted a header in the dying seconds of the game, but the goal was disallowed by referee Gil Manzano, who had already blown the final whistle before the cross was played in.

Bellingham was incensed by the decision and confronted Manzano after the final whistle, leading to a red card. According to Fabrizio Romano, Bellingham exclaimed, “It’s a fcking goal, the ball is in the air, what the fck is that?!”

Bellingham’s frustration extended beyond the pitch, as he retweeted a fan’s tweet calling the disallowed goal a “scandal.” The incident is sure to spark debate, with some arguing that Bellingham’s reaction was understandable given the circumstances, while others will criticize his lack of sportsmanship.
