CAF Confirms Second Leg of AFL Final venue and Time 2

This is a change from the originally scheduled date of November 11, 2023, which clashed with the Soweto Derby between Kaizer Chiefs and Orlando Pirates. The Soweto Derby is one of the biggest football matches in Africa, and CAF decided to reschedule the AFL final to avoid a conflict.

The AFL is a new competition established by CAF in partnership with FIFA. It is a super league for the top clubs in Africa, and the inaugural final will be contested between Wydad AC of Morocco and Mamelodi Sundowns of South Africa.

Wydad AC will host the first leg of the final in Casablanca on Sunday, November 5, 2023. The second leg will now take place in Pretoria on Sunday, November 12, 2023.

The AFL final is expected to be a thrilling contest between two of the best clubs in Africa. Both Wydad AC and Mamelodi Sundowns have a strong tradition of winning trophies, and they will be determined to become the inaugural AFL champions.
