Ebi: Super Falcons Ready to Face Republic of Ireland 2

The Super Falcons of Nigeria are in good spirits ahead of their Group B clash against Republic of Ireland on Monday. The team’s captain, Onome Ebi, said that the mood in camp is great and everyone is looking forward to the match.

The Super Falcons need a point against the Irish to secure a place in the Round of 16. They are currently top of the group, having won their first two matches against Australia and South Korea.

Ebi said that the team’s confidence has been boosted by their victory against Australia. “The win against Australia has given us the belief and the confidence to face any team,” she said. “We will play for a win.” Via dailypost
