London, England – Arsenal’s Director of Football, Edu Gaspar, has spoken out about the progress of the club, stating that while there is still much to be done, he is proud of where they are at the moment.
In an interview with Sky Sports, Edu said, “I know there’s lots to do. I think we are in the middle of the process, there’s still a lot of things to do. But we are very happy and proud to see where we are at the moment as a club.”
Arsenal have had a fantastic season so far, currently sitting top in the Premier League table. They have been knocked out of the FA Cup and the Carabao Cup, but are still in the Europa League, where they will face Sporting CP on Thursday.
Edu remains optimistic about the future of the club. “We have a lot of young players with a lot of potential, and we’re working hard to build a team that can compete at the highest level,” he said.
One player who has been a bright spot for Arsenal this season is Leandro Trossard. The former Brighton and Hove Albion winger who recently move to the Emirates Stadium, and Edu spoke highly of him in the interview.
“Trossard? We’re really happy with him,” he said.”
