Manchester United right-back Aaron Wan-Bissaka has praised the influence of new manager Erik ten Hag, saying he has learned a lot from the Dutchman.
Wan-Bissaka was one of several players who struggled for form in the first half of the season, but he has been one of the team’s standout performers since Ten Hag’s arrival in December.
The 25-year-old has been praised for his improved attacking output, and he has also been more solid defensively.
“Since I’ve been under him, the manager has taught me a lot and you just want to improve more and keep learning more, especially from someone like him,” Wan-Bissaka told Inside United via streetynews. “So I’ve enjoyed that.”
Ten Hag is known for his attacking style of play, and he has been working with Wan-Bissaka to get him more involved in the offensive game.
“He wants me to be more aggressive going forward and to get into the box more,” Wan-Bissaka said. “He’s also helped me with my positioning and my decision-making.”
Wan-Bissaka is confident that he can continue to improve under Ten Hag, and he is excited about the future of the team.
“I think we’re going in the right direction,” he said. “The manager has a clear plan for the team, and we’re all buying into it.”
Wan-Bissaka is not the only player who has praised Ten Hag’s influence. Other players who have spoken out in support of the new manager include Bruno Fernandes, Cristiano Ronaldo, and Harry Maguire.
Ten Hag has only been in charge for a few months, but he has already made a positive impact at Manchester United. The team is playing better football, and they are starting to look like a team that can challenge for trophies.
With Ten Hag at the helm, Manchester United fans are optimistic about the future.
