“I have confidence in the abilities of the players,” Ramzi said at a pre-match press conference. “The atmosphere is good. This match against Sundowns will be completely different from the Champions League last season. It will be game of football, away from any other concerns.”

Wydad and Sundowns met in the Champions League final last season, with Wydad coming out on top. However, Ramzi is aware that this match will be a different challenge.

Ramzi is also confident that his team can create a positive atmosphere in Pretoria, even though they will be playing away from home.

“We know that there will be a lot of Sundowns fans at the stadium,” Ramzi said. “But we also know that we have a lot of Wydad fans in Pretoria. We are confident that we can create a positive atmosphere and that we can win the match.”

The AFL final is scheduled to be played on Sunday, November 12, 2023 at Loftus Versfeld Stadium in Pretoria.
