Olympique Lyonnais striker, Gift Orban, has addressed recent comments made by teammate Alexandre Lacazette regarding his direct communication style.
Speaking to L’Équipe via GFF, Orban offered his perspective: “People who don’t know me well might find me surprising. I’m simply honest and straightforward. If something bothers me, I address it directly. I believe in open communication and avoid being secretive. There’s no personal animosity intended. I strive to maintain a positive atmosphere, bringing joy to training sessions, and treating everyone with respect.”
Orban acknowledged that his initial approach might be misinterpreted. “One might perceive me as a bit different at first,” he admitted, “but I assure you, I’m approachable and respectful once you get to know me. Life experiences have shaped me this way, and I confidently approach situations.”
