Former Enyimba midfielder Kelly Kester has joined his hometown club Bendel Insurance on a one-year deal.

The 33-year-old Kester, who is a product of the Bendel Insurance youth academy, is returning to the club after a successful spell out of the country.

Kester is a versatile midfielder who can play in a variety of positions. He is known for his strong passing and tackling skills, as well as his ability to read the game.

His arrival is a major boost for Bendel Insurance, who are preparing for their first appearance in the CAF Confederation Cup next season. The club will be hoping that Kester’s experience can help them to make an impact in the continental competition.

Kester is excited to be back at Bendel Insurance and is looking forward to helping the club achieve their goals.

“I am very happy to be back at Bendel Insurance,” he said. “This is my home town club and I have always wanted to play for them. I am looking forward to helping the team to achieve success in the CAF Confederation Cup next season.

Bendel Insurance manager Monday Odigie is also pleased to have Kester on board.

“Kelly is a very experienced player who will add a lot of quality to our team,” he said. “He is a leader on the field and he will be a valuable asset for us.”
