Zlatan Ibrahimovic, the legendary Swedish striker and Sweden’s all-time top scorer, has announced his retirement from professional football at the age of 41.

Ibrahimovic, who has played for some of Europe’s biggest clubs including Juventus, Barcelona, PSG, and Milan, has enjoyed a trophy-laden career that has captivated fans around the world.

The decision to retire comes as Ibrahimovic’s contract with AC Milan is set to expire at the end of June. Unfortunately, the striker has been plagued by injuries throughout the season, which has influenced the club’s choice not to renew his contract. Despite this, Ibrahimovic’s impact on Milan has been significant, as he helped the team secure the Scudetto in 2011 and played a crucial role in their title win last season.
