Victor Osimhen is in Nigeria to attend to a court case involving a family member.
“Victor Osimhen spoke to our secretary as he decided to travel to Nigeria, he has our permission,” Meluso Soccerhub can confirm. “He’ll return once he resolves some personal issues, he’s also injured so he’s still recovering. I think he’ll be back as soon as possible.”
Osimhen has been absent from Napoli’s recent training sessions, and there was speculation that he had gone AWOL. However, Meluso’s comments confirm that Osimhen is in Nigeria with the club’s blessing.
It is unclear when Osimhen will return to Napoli, but he is expected to be back as soon as he has resolved his personal issues.
