The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has taken a significant step toward enhancing the development of grassroots football with the commencement of a new project at the Moshood Abiola National Stadium (MKO Stadium) in Abuja.
On Monday, the NFF began the construction of a hostel designed to accommodate players during camping periods, alongside a standard football pitch. This project aims to provide a dedicated space for the national U15, U17, and U20 boys and girls teams to train and develop their skills in a professional environment.
The facilities, which will be situated within the MKO Stadium complex, are expected to greatly enhance the quality of preparation for Nigeria’s youth teams.
