The two teams booked their places in the final after winning their respective semi-finals on Monday, August 29. Delta Queens edged out Athlético of Ivory Coast 3-2 in extra-time, while Ampem Darkoa thrashed Benin’s Sam Nelly 6-1.

Delta Queens are the defending champions of the THE NWFL. They won the title in 2023.

The winner of the WAFU B Women’s Champions League will qualify for the CAF Women’s Champions League. The CAF Women’s Champions League is the premier club competition for women’s football in Africa.

The 2023 CAF Women’s Champions League will be held in Morocco from October 30 to November 13, 2023.

The final between Delta Queens and Ampem Darkoa is expected to be a closely contested match. Both teams have quality players and are capable of winning the title.
