The 25-year-old Nigerian striker opened the scoring in the third minute with a close-range finish after being set up by Kieran Lee. He doubled Bolton’s lead in the 14th minute with a header from a corner, and completed his hat-trick in the 37th minute with a cool finish after being played through by Amadou Bakayoko.

Adeboyejo’s hat-trick was his first in English football, and it came at a crucial time for Bolton, who were looking to bounce back from a 1-0 defeat to Gillingham in their previous game.

The Nigerian striker has now scored three goals in four appearances for Bolton since joining the club from Barnsley in the summer. He is eligible to play for the Super Eagles of Nigeria, and his performances for Bolton could see him earn a call-up to the national team in the near future.

Adeboyejo is a powerful and pacey striker who is good at running in behind defenders. He is also a good finisher with both feet. He is sure to be a key player for Bolton this season, and he could be a valuable asset to the Super Eagles in the future.

Bolton manager Ian Evatt was delighted with Adeboyejo’s performance and said that he was a “huge threat” to opposing defences.

“Victor was excellent tonight,” Evatt said. “He’s a huge threat and he’s got a lot of pace and power. He’s a good finisher too, and he showed that tonight with his hat-trick.”

Evatt added that he was confident that Adeboyejo would continue to score goals for Bolton this season.

“He’s got a lot of potential, and I’m sure he’ll score a lot of goals for us this season,” Evatt said. “He’s a good player, and he’s a good fit for us.”

What Next for Adeboyejo?

Adeboyejo’s hat-trick has put him in the spotlight and he could be a target for clubs in the Championship or even the Premier League in the future.

The Nigerian striker is under contract with Bolton until 2024, but he could be tempted to move on if he continues to score goals at a regular rate.

Adeboyejo is a talented striker with a bright future ahead of him. He will be hoping to continue his good form for Bolton and earn a call-up to the Super Eagles in the near future.
