Doma United continued their impressive start to the Nigerian Professional Football League (NPFL) season with a convincing 3-0 victory over Gombe United on Sunday.
The victory was Doma United’s second away win of the season and sees them move up to second in the NPFL table, level on points with leaders Rivers United.

Abia Warriors secured a narrow 2-1 victory over Kastina United in another thrilling NPFL encounter on Sunday.
The hosts held on for all three points to secure their third victory of the season.

In the other NPFL matches played on Sunday, Akwa United drew 0-0 with Plateau United, Bendel Insurance defeated Remo Stars 1-0, Rangers International beat Heartland FC 2-0, Enyimba edged Kwara United 1-0, and Rivers United drew 1-1 with Sunshine Stars.
Shooting Stars recorded the biggest win of the day, hammering Niger Tornadoes 4-1.
