Al Wahda head coach Pitso Mosimane was taken to hospital in Abu Dhabi on Wednesday after suffering shortness of breath.
According to local media reports, Mosimane was rushed to hospital after complaining of difficulty breathing. He is currently receiving treatment and is said to be in stable condition.
The 59-year-old South African coach is one of the most successful managers in African football, having won the CAF Champions League with Mamelodi Sundowns and Al Ahly. He also led Al Ahly to the FIFA Club World Cup bronze medal in 2021.

Mosimane’s hospitalization comes just ahead of Al Wahda’s next match against Ajman in the UAE Pro League. It is unclear whether he will be able to take charge of the team for the game.
