Many players has graced the English premier league while many names will be written in Gold.

And since 1992 the beginning of a new Era, here is the compile list of the the top scorer in the competition.

Alan Shearer is one of the most iconic and successful players in the history of the Premier League. During his career, he set numerous records and cemented his place as one of the greatest goal scorers of all time.

Shearer began his career at Southampton, where he quickly established himself as a prolific goal scorer. In 1992, he signed with Blackburn Rovers for a then-record transfer fee of £3.6 million. He spent four seasons at Blackburn, scoring a remarkable 112 goals in 171 appearances. This included a 34-goal campaign in the 1994-1995 season, which earned him the Premier League Golden Boot and helped Blackburn win the league title.

In 1996, Shearer joined his hometown club, Newcastle United, for a then-world record transfer fee of £15 million. He spent the next 10 years at Newcastle, becoming the club’s all-time leading goal scorer with 206 goals in 404 appearances. He also won the Premier League Golden Boot twice more, in 1997 and 1999.

Throughout his career, Shearer set numerous records in the Premier League. He is the all-time leading goal scorer in the Premier League, with 260 goals in 441 appearances. He also holds the record for the most goals scored in a single Premier League season, with 34 goals in the 1994-1995 campaign. Andrew Cole is a retired English footballer, and No. 4 on the list, he’s is best known for his prolific goal-scoring record in the Premier League. Throughout his career, Cole played for several clubs including Newcastle United, Manchester United, Blackburn Rovers, Fulham and Manchester City.

Cole began his Premier League career at Newcastle United in 1993, where he quickly established himself as one of the top goal-scorers in the league. In his first season, he scored 34 goals in 40 appearances, winning the Golden Boot award as the league’s top goal-scorer. This remains the best goal-scoring performance by a player on his debut season in the premier league history.

Cole’s success at Newcastle earned him a big-money move to Manchester United in 1995, where he continued to score goals at a prolific rate. He won five Premier League titles and two FA Cups during his time at Old Trafford. He also scored 121 goals in 275 appearances, making him one of the club’s all-time top goal-scorers.

After leaving Manchester United, Cole went on to play for Blackburn Rovers, Fulham, and Manchester City before retiring from professional football in 2008.
