Buschier, who has extensive experience in African football, previously coached the Democratic Republic of Congo and Burkina Faso. He is known for his attacking style of play and his ability to get the best out of his players.

The appointment of Buschier comes after Amavubi’s recent poor run of form.

Buschier will be tasked with turning things around and leading Amavubi to victory against Senegal. The match is a dead rubber game, as they have no chance of qualifying for the AFCON in Ivory Coast.
