The move comes after Simba parted ways with former coach Pablo Franco Martin. The club is also considering Sven Vandenbroeck as a potential replacement, but Jaïdi is believed to be the front-runner for the job.

Simba are keen to appoint a permanent head coach before their CAF Champions League campaign begins in February. The club will face Ivorian giants ASEC Mimosas in the group stage of the competition.

Jaïdi is a seasoned manager with experience in both Europe and Africa. He is also familiar with the CAF Champions League, having led ES Tunis to the semi-finals of the competition in 2020.

The appointment of Jaïdi would be a major coup for Simba. The club is hoping that the Tunisian can lead them to success in both the domestic league and the CAF Champions League.
