Arsenal reclaimed their position at the summit of the Premier League table following a hard-fought 2-0 victory over Wolverhampton Wanderers at Molineux Stadium on Saturday.
Leandro Trossard opened the scoring for the Gunners, while Martin Odegaard added another in the second half to secure the crucial three points.
Speaking after the match, Trossard praised his team’s performance: “I think it was pretty impressive, we played really well and had control most of the time,” he said. “They are a good side of course and they tried to hurt us on the counter but we managed it well. We could have scored more but we’re happy with the clean sheet.”
The win comes after a challenging week for Arsenal, and puts them back in the driving seat of the title race. Their lead at the top could be short-lived, however, as both Liverpool and Manchester City are still in contention.
