The format of the African Football (Super) League has been met with mixed reactions. Some have praised the competition for its potential to generate more revenue for African clubs and to raise the profile of African football. Others have criticized the format for being too similar to the UEFA Champions League and for not doing enough to promote the development of football in Africa.

Only time will tell whether the African Football (Super) League will be a success. However, the competition has the potential to be a major boost for African football.

The African Football (Super) League is a major new initiative for CAF and it will be interesting to see how it is received by fans and clubs across the continent.
