Wydad Striker Bouly Sambou Joins Al-Riyadh in $850,000 Deal 2

Morocco international Bouly Sambou has joined Saudi Pro League club Al-Riyadh in a deal worth $850,000. The 24-year-old striker has signed a two-year contract with the club, reportedly worth $500,000 per season.

Sambou was a key player for Wydad Casablanca last season, scoring 20 goals in 41 games in all competitions. He helped the club win the Botola Pro Inwi, the Moroccan League title, and the Arab Champions League.

Sambou is a versatile striker who can play as a center-forward or on the wing. He is known for his pace, strength, and finishing ability. He will be a valuable addition to Al-Riyadh’s attack.

The Senegalese striker is the latest in a string of African players to join Al-Riyadh in recent years. The club also has the likes of Knowledge Musona, Mohamed Salah, and Walid Azarou in their squad.

Al-Riyadh are hoping that Sambou can help them challenge for the Saudi Pro League title this season. The club finished third last season, 12 points behind champions Al Hilal.

Sambou is the first signing of the summer for Al-Riyadh. The club are also reportedly interested in signing Cameroonian striker Vincent Aboubakar.
